Default Problem with Mina Gallery

In early May I ordered on Ebay a Windscreen for our Jag. It was paid ($399) and to date I have not received the item. I have escalated through Ebay and through my CC that is used on PayPal. The seller has not answered any of my calls and has not responded to my questions to them. They are located in Agoura Hills, California and at this time I am in dispute and requesting a refund if I can ever get a hold of them. I used the Ebay money back guaranty but will have to wait 48 hours to see about the resolution. I would suggest anyone who wants to deal with Mina Gallery's to make sure you talk directly with them or not deal at all. I guess it is buyer be where.

Good news from Ebay/paypal. They just contacted me and are giving me a full refund. I don't know what the problem is with Mina but I will need to find another company who makes the wind screen.

Just got a call from Mina with an apology and an offer. They are very interested in getting and keeping our business. There appears to be an issue with the USPS which they are trying to resolve. I am a bit gun shy but will decide whether to take them up on their offer.

Jagtoes:

I use eBay allot and Amazon Prime. They (eBay) have a very good Resoution Center and always work out a resolve between buyers and sellers. I have never had a problem collecting refunds for items not delivered or items received that have been damaged.

Mina can use UPS or FedEx if necessary, as USPS is not the only choice for logistics. Since you had one problem with them and you know that eBay will stand up for the consumer, it would be very easy for Mina to relist the wind deflector or sell the deflector to you via eBay with a "direct invoice" to you if they are offering a special price due to their original blunder.

If you buy direct from Mina Gallery and they do not pull thru with your purchase, you may not have recourse. eBay frounds hard against offers from their vendors to buy "outside" of eBay.

I would certainly give Mina another shot, but only thru eBay. Otherwise use eBay vendor Adamesh from the UK. Service is excellent and their product is identical to Mina. Delivery is ultra fast from across the "pond'.

I personally bought mine from Adamesh Ltd. in the UK. No regrets, no buyers remorse.

I've order my windscreen for Adamesh too and they are really efficient. Plus, they were less expensive then mina.
I'm always reluctant to get back to someone who miss the puck at the first time, but Mina seems to be reliable for lot of people on the forum.

I had my fiance buy me a pulley for my blower on my car from Mina. The inside of the pulley had issues

Chris at Mina sent me out a pulley before I even sent him back the defective pulley, without recharging my cc

Mina did the right thing before I had to fly out there on my broom

I will buy from mina again

To be honest, I can't remember many issues with Mina in the recent past or the distant past if it comes to that.

Generally, its always been very positive comments about them in general and Chris in particular.

I bought my windscreen from Adamesh during the holidays in 2012/13. Other than that they were closed for a week everything went very well and the price was/is right. I would use them again. I bought the Mina exhaust system directly from Mina. They arranged the install and gave me a great price (including installation) Chris was most accomodating. In other words, I would use both suppliers again.

Jagtoes,
Mina is very close to me, and I have a number of things ordered that I will pick up in the next couple of weeks. If there is anything I can help you with, just let me know. They actually have a shop in Reseda, CA (San Fernando Valley suburb).

This was definitely a fluke, Mina customer service has been awesome the 5-6 times I've used them and I always call direct. Just keep in mind it is a small family run business, don't expect a call center with 10 operators standing by.

Default All is well

Chris called me twice to understand the problem. The net was apparently he shipped 3 units out on the same day through the USPS and all 3 were lost or not received. He apologized for the mix up and promised if I re-ordered he would ship FedEx and also give me a better deal. He was nice and also mentioned that they didn't have any feedback from the USPS so at this time they are out 3 units. I also mentioned that he has good credentials from people on these Jaguar forms . Thanks for your feedback.
