Protect your seals.(Coupe)
IF you always close the rear hatch with a door open, or window down, you won't have to push all the pressure past the seals.
It takes substantially less effort to latch, and the sudden pressure exit, over time, can deform the hatch or window seals as the air rushes out.
Just something for those who plan on owning for the long term to do.

Sort of the same thing happens with my wife... with the top up, she tries to close the door with me either already in or already out, and the over-pressure keeps her door from fully latching. I have learned to "correct" her behavior by letting HER close her door first, then I can close mine. I've also learned that when I asked her to use a bit more force to overcome the pressure, she does the same thing with the top down.
