A question of taste – rim colors on silver cat
You need to consider what look your trying to achieve and the car.
Your car has some chrome accents and the XK is more of a car of beauty than a car to murder with a sinister look. IMO I would go silver or polished aluminum like the wheels on my car. If you are biased toward a colored wheel I would, like suggested above, use plasti-dip to experiment before making your decision. I would say with your stock finish IMO. I would not go dark.

Now... On silver?.... Hummmmm
Yeah, that's along the lines of what I was saying - dark wheels with silver highlights. Struggling to imagine it with your wheels, though (sorry, imagination fail).
I really like the 'cut' look. Polished/light faces with dark to hide the brake dust. There was a new F-type R at Exotics last saturday with that effect. Was pretty nice, and I liked it better than the F-type S in Red over black wheels next to it. I do think that true black wheels are a little bit of a let down for most cars as a whole -- race cars exempted.
Edit: I remembered I took a pic of it because I liked the way the rims looked.
