Hi guys! A noise has been bothering me for a couple of months now...I hope someone is able to help! I have a 2007 XK.
At a speed below 15-20mph I hear a rattling noise. I am not really able to locate it, but it seems to come from either the middle or the rear. The noise only appears when the car is warmed up. I am further only able to hear it when rolling or braking, but not while accelerating. The noise then is constant until braking. Additionally I feel a light vibration. When going over certain speed-bumps I hear something that sounds similar. What we have checked so far: rear axle, differential, tires, small pads between axle and differential.
I could try to record the noise, but it's mostly very quiet.
I hope the "symptoms" sound familiar to someone
