rear inner fender liner - plastic
any advice on repairing or replacing inner rear fender liner. my xkrs rear tire shredded and a loose piece of tread sliced the fender liner.
thinking about trying to repair, or just replace if not too expensive or difficult.
any help is appreciated

I had a hole in one of my front ones, and found a seller on ebay selling "new" liners for a low price. Well the quality was low too. Instead of being the firm, sound deadened OEM material, it was just plain plastic. Figured it would be noisy as hell, and sound like crap when driving on wet roads, I just pitched it in the trash, and bought a used one from an on-line yard parting out cars (Pacific Motors). It was a bit dirty, but at least it was OEM material.
Are the fixings in place, if so try a main dealer, replacing should be pretty straight forward once the wheel is off.
I'd have thought the part would be the same for an XK/R as generic and probs only $300 or so from a dealer?
