Not complex at all. The extra cost of a newer screen being flashed to work with my ‘08 only applies to 07-08 (in the UK 06-07). And there is a guy in the UK who does the whole thing.

Thanks for this! I’ve been looking for a guide. In terms of flashing the screen, I’m assuming you need to have the SDD. I’ll look on the forum to see if there any guide on that.

@Sean W Can assist with that. Easiest (but not cheapest) route is replacing the screen with newer and flashing it back to work with an 08 but retaining the options needed for mr12v. And an ICM but those are cheap.
A perk is that since you keep the functional original screen, you have a backup.
