When I was shopping for my "05 XK, one dealer had a custom red colored one and the other had a silver one. The red one seemed "too loud" from the pictures. When I went to see it, however, it stopped me in my track, took my breath away, it was flat spectacular with the cream colored interior.

This dealer would not deal a single penny from the high asking price. No matter, I wanted the car BADLY. I called the other dealer with the silver car and told him that I would not be coming by. Make the story shorter, the second dealer offered me a deal that I could not refuse. Like 10K less for the silver car. Thus, I ended up with the silver car and I NEVER forgave myself for selling out and not getting the one that took my breath away.

Have a 2001 XK Conv, Phoenix Red, Black Top, Black Interior ... I luv it. Catches everyones eye. Go for the Red.

 

I have a 2007 XK in Radiance with tan top and camel interior. It looks spectacular in the sun. I get many compliments. In the end color is a personal preferance. I suggest you actually see the car before you decide.
