I am the proud owner of a 2002* XKR paperweight due to "Tranny" problems.

I am "dissatisfied" with the results from the local Jag dealer, Byer's Imports. The tranny specialist they referred me to kept trying to tell me I had a Ford tranny and it was probably toast. NOT so fast, Cowboy.

Can anyone recommend a GOOD, independent mechanic within 100 miles of the Columbus, OH area. Someone who will check for relatively minor electrical problems before recommending a tranny transplant.

OSU Medical Center or Riverside could get you a tranny transplant... Don't know about getting your car fixed though. :-)

 

This is almost within your 100 mile radius. There is a good independent shop in Parma (Cleveland suburb). I've used them for my Land Rover and my Jaguars.

I have heard of West End in Parma and know of no other independents in Ohio.... Give them a call!! All we got is Byers in Columbus.
