Hey all. I've got a 2010 Jaguar XK and I need to remove the rear upper trim panel on the passenger side to reupholster. The is the rear panel that has the coat hook on it. The forward portion seems to simply snap out but the back end is anchored all the way back into the trunk (see pictures). I can't find any information on how to remove this panel (not even in the manual). Has anyone had to do this. Would appreciate any advice on how to remove this panel.
I only have a copy of the 4.2 service manual, but it says to remove the parcel shelf, which I assume is the grey piece behind the seats. The manual is silent on removing the parcel shelf, but I assume there are bolts under the child safety restraint anchor points. Hopefully you don't have to remove the seats. Good huck!

Removing the rear seats is actually quite easy though. Lift; Pull; Lift-Lift; two screws; Lift; Lift.
Thanks. Yes the manual mentions removal of the Parcel Tray/Parcel Shelf but no other information on it. I was trying to avoid removing the seats but it seems pretty easy to do so I'll give it a try.
