Repairs to polished aluminum Vulcan wheels
Hi,
At a local, reputable detailing shop I had a scratch repaired on my polished Vulcan wheels (part of Dynamic Pack on 2012 XKR). Turns out they've sprayed silver on the wheel and said that's the best they can do. It's dull and really not acceptable. The guy claims not to know how Jaguar achieve the polished finish and says he can't protect the wheel with clearcoat on that polished finish. Seems to be little info out there on how to get polished aluminum wheels touched up. Any experience out there?
