HELP!!! To get the cylinder head off am I going to have to take off the lower timing cover? If so, then I need to buy a special tool to remove the crankshaft pulley. I was thinking I could remove the timing components by just taking off the upper cover, but the AllData website's instructions say to take off the lower one, too. And to get the lower one off, you have to remove the chrankshaft pulley, which looks difficult and requires special tools.

One thought, as V7Sport previously mentioned in this thread, there was someone else on the forum who went through a similar valve set issue and replaced the engine heads.
