Good afternoon.

My right side 1/4 window seems to be stuck when I open/close the conv. top. I hear a slight grinding noise when happens, so I'm guessing its the window motor. Unfortunately, I've not been able to get it to close. Is there a secret or this is something I should get looked at?

Can anyone provide a proven auto tech that is located w/in 10 miles of the Chicagoland area, preferably near Ohare airport?

If it turns out to be the regulator, and not just an alignment problem, there’s a company in Florida that does regulator rebuilds, and I think several owners have used them with good results. Window Motor World, no affiliation, just passing along possibly useful info:
