Default Rookie Question: XK Major Maintenance?

I've searched the forum, and I do not see this covered anywhere else.

I'm looking at Jaguar XK Coupes - probably a 2007, and have been tracking prices on both XK and XKR's. I'm trying to find out if the ones with high mileage (one XKR is over 50,000 mi.) are too big a risk. What is the service interval on the timing chain? Also, on XKR's, is there a service interval on the (I'm assuming) supercharger drive belt? I am trying to see if a low price is directly related to a major overhaul pending...

The engines are a strong point on the V8 Jags. I'd be more worried about the suspension, exterior and interior, along with services inlcuding the AC drain hose.

Thanks - I learned from research to watch out for leakage (current and past) from the AC inside the car.

When I bought my XK, the Jag dealer said they fixed line as part of their recon of the car. Did not have this issue on VDP.

XKR brakes are going to be more money than XK's. Assuming similar price, I'd rather have the 5.0 XK than a 4.2 XKR.

Just curious, why? I've looked at both as well.
