Rr Caliper Pistons Won't Turn In

Default Rr Caliper Pistons Won't Turn In

Got about one turn on them and that's it. Bending caliper tool handle they will not budge. E brake at its off detent with spring removed...Even opened the bleeder...Ideas? Ready to put the old half worn pads on and call it a day...

Are you turning the piston as well as pushing the piston?

Time to pull the caliper and see what's going on. Is there any rust in the area. Did you try turning it the opposite way . sounds like you either need to soak it in penetrating oil or get it rebuilt or replace it.

I think they turn only one way. I have a left handed turn and a right handed turn in my kit.

Pull the caliper off and see if you can turn it on the bench on a vice. Might be time for a new caliper. I’d also flush your brake fluid regardless of outcome.
