Well, now I've gone and done it....
I have proudly joined the ranks buy purchasing an '07 XK coupe. 41k miles and got it for $31500(us) plus tax. Still had to toss a Extended on it for peace of mind but I knew that was a given considering my moderate income.
Drove home with a big smile. I'll get a shot or two up as soon as I can.
Need tinting and a clear bra next!....

Thanks to all of you for your words of wisdom.

Keep it shiny side up!
Vince

Yup... Still a tad scared, as it is now the most expensive car I've purchased in my 36+ years of driving.
Looking forward to a nice road trip soon!

Nice! We've had enough recent XK converts in Seattle to justify a lunch or something soon!

Very nice looking! I'm curious where the picture was taken? Looks like Seattle in the background---and the cat looks like it's sitting at a ferry landing. I lived in the Seattle area for over 25 yrs. I do like those wheels very similar to the Sepangs. Have fun.

That is Seattle back there. Pic was taken in Manchester.

Gotta get her cleaned up and find a better backdrop. silver cars and grey backgrounds dont do well pictur wise.

BTW. thanks all for the comments. I really am quite stunned at how many lookers have circled this car where i park it. Even had a porsche owner pulled in while taking the shot asking if he could check her out.
Guess you all are use to it, but it is still amazing to me to see these reaction from folks.

peace
Vince
