Any recommendations where to obtain this online? I have a Dongle cable and computer ready. Just looking for recommendations where to obtain the software. Thanks in advance

Huge difference in price between the two; from 'free' to lots plus a subscription to TopiX.

 

130 carries calibration files onboard who cares about a topix subscription…

just type jaguar sdd 130 into google you will find it

 

Be careful if you do it that way, such as piratebay . org and such. Maybe use a VPN or something, or a different network connection. Some ISPs track all installable files and either block or report them as piracy. Also, there are like six additional files you'd need along with the primary .exe or .pkg . All the updates and such. It's a pretty large amount of data required.

 

The version below installs SDD 130 on a XP VM.

Which dongle do you have? A specific dongle is required, sold on the site below. NOTE: there are cheap chinese dongles (whatever that means) but I never had a problem with the one I got from this source.

My first version was from this source. Support is nonexistent, but it supposedly self installs with simple instructions (it did for me). "All of our kits come with IDS and SDD pre-installed on a virtual machine. Basic computer skills are required to copy and paste the machine over and set it up. We provide detailed pictorial instructions aswell as a video tutorial all supplied with the kit."

 

Just purchased a kit form British Diagnostics. All that was in the package was the Mongoose cable. No instructions or software. Am I missing something? Is the software on the Mongoose cable. Have contacted British Diagnostics but no reply as yet.

 

The software is pretty huge, so no it's not in the cable. You also need a specific operating system for the laptop you also need. This is not a small investment.
I've always heard that the B.D. 'kit' was near complete. Maybe you should contact them because they may have failed to send you all of it.
