I have a 2001 XK8. The drivers seat only goes forward and back. The back will not raise or lower. Makes noise when I push switch but nothing moves. I did swape the module from the passenger and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Welcome to our forum! Great folk, and lots of info.

I recall a few past posts about seats only working in one way (reclined, but would not raise). the fix was a reset done by the dealership... luckily not a motor or something costly...

I hope your fix is as good ro cheaper!

That's right, that was my 2007. Simple recalibration of the seat module and all was well again. I don't even think I was charged even though I was out of warranty.
