We are 2007 - 2014 XK/XKR (x150)

You will find better conversation about your car over in the X100 side of the house.

As for your secret module..... Well.... You already carry a cell phone, so big brother already knows everything you do. No external modules needed!

Interesting sticker on your bluetooth module. I have seen a number of other forum members report similar engineering samples found in their cars. It appears Jaguar (aka Ford at the time) used engineering sample parts in early production vehicles when they were satisfied with their performance.

From your avatar it appears you do have an X150 so you are in the correct forum, so you have a 2007MY car which was built in 2006 - not unusual to have later MY cars built in prior year.

 

Out of interest is your VIN before the first official production X150 of B00379

I have a late xkr (X100) from 2005 and a early 2006 XK (x150) in my garage....

I changed my avatar....

 

The vin code is : B00555 so it it's an early one...
I bought this XK in Belgium and was told it was the first new model XK arrived overthere....
