Service...hourly rates...what does your Jag dealer charge?
So my son took his VDP to the Jag dealer in Wichita...he's in the Air Force and that's where he is stationed currently. His fan motor would not come on. The name of the dealer is Scholfield (sp?)
They diagnosed the problem (needed a new controller). They charged him over $180 an hour for labor.
I was astonished. I talked to them on the phone - Hennessey here in Atl only charges $125 and I told them that. No response. I have a private mechanic that works on noon-warranty stuff that is less.
What does everyone else pay at their respective dealer for an hourly service charge?

I remember being charged $120 an hour by Lee Jaguar several years ago on my VDP when I needed the dealer to do work. Now that Herb Chambers owns the dealership, they may've increased the labor rate.

The last Jaguar main dealer around these here parts went wallop four years ago. And I don't miss them. My zookeeper is a Jag technician with 12 years experience, operating a small, independent shop with all the diag equipment, etc. He charges around €60 per-hour, and well worth it.
