This one???
Pretty sure it has to do with 'a LR can go where only dog sleds could go before'.

They explain in plain English the beginning of the commercial what it is about. What part was not clear?

I think instead of just shots of the land rover driving in the tunnel they decided to add an extra flavor for people who like animals but don't care about cars.

I seldom understand trendy advertising like guys running from a sand storm in a Rover to go sailing. The hip-hop mice in the little car is another fine example of what is beyond me too.

Its a narrative for white delusion, projection and separation.
Delusion: Your journeys will take you off the beaten path to exotic superhuman locations (when in reality you call in sick when they predict snow on the highway)
Projection: Even if you never make it to Patagonia with your Range Rover- you project that its the personality you harbor.
Separation: This is the thing that can help create separation between you and the rest of the sheep.

all for a little more monthly lease payment than the minivan.

The same could probably be said about Jaguar's "Villain" ad campaign

They are using white dogs to promote Velar as well. Digging the new Velar!

Personally, I drive Jag to signal potential mates that I am of a high reproductive fitness. Little do they know that my family tree doesn't branch.

The Jaguar XK buyer is the hardest animal to market to.
By definition he is aloof, doesnt not buy into any fantasy, wants to create his own, doesnt want to be part of any clan.

Ironically, and entirely coincidentally, he is not unlike the namesake solitary cat.

Have you had much luck with that on the track?

That's the commercial I was referring to. Not the tunnel. I actually haven't seen the tunnel one before. Sorry for the confusion. Carry on.

This commercial tells me that Land Rover needs a new ad agency.
