So I found my XKR...
2013 XKR vert, under 25,000 miles, 1 owner, bought and maintained at selling dealer. Car has what I want. Looking at the service history printout from the dealer: The 'rap sheet' looks a little long, or so I feel:
car visited dealer total of 11 times, and besides normal service, dead battery replaced 3 times (2014, 2017, 2019, battery tender recommended few times by tech, as car probably sitting for weeks at a time), check engine light 3 separate times (bad/damaged gas cap replaced twice), water pump replaced 2015 at 8500 miles, wheel alignment 4 times due to bald/uneven tires and/or car pulling to the side, one major electrical failure during parking light recall procedure(back and forth with tech reps for 7 days, finally replaced central junction box and aux. junction box), steering wheel audio control roller wheel stuck- replaced.
I'm scratching my head on this one. I am hot on the car, but that's a lot of crap, no?
I mean I'm on my 4th leased Jag, driving 15,000 miles/year, 3 year leases and never had to visit the dealer more that once a year for things other than yearly service.

You say you have had zero problems? Really, zero?

- One visit due to not understanding the passenger airbag light operation.
- One CEL visit- the gas cap was not even screwed in at all, just laying there. Two more CEL visits, the gas cap was damaged/bad??????
- Car dead/no crank/had to be jumped - Bad battery confirmed, replaced 3 times (last replacement just recently): Battery tender was recommended at first visit in 2014 already when window memory had to be reset, and few additional times, but did not happen apparently.

Breaking down the items in the CarFax... https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...fLpZD0vdq4YwY0
Brake fluid flushed/changed @ 7,213 miles Big Bonus!
Engine/powertrain computer/module checked @ 7K miles & again @ 8K miles Quite common (have seen this on many a CarFax report for the X150 XKR)
Four wheel alignment performed Big bonus (responsible previous owner)
Fuel filler cap replaced Sh*t happens (easy fix for a minor problem)
Battery replaced Very common (even multiple times if the car sits for extended periods of time.)
IMHO this car was looked after (at a Jag dealership no-less) by a car-caring previous owner.

A car that has "zero" problems reported is guaranteed to be one that has been ignored by some male bimbo who has never even looked at the instrument panel (yes they exist) (could be company car and you have a better offer)
Think about it. How many millions of petty problems have you read about just here on this forum. Sure if you bought your car 5 years old, you are going smack the headlight to get it to work.
But if you bought a brand new Jaguar ( because you want service) and you have bumper to bumper warranty- you are going to drive past 50 tire shops to go have your tires filled at Jaguar.

I'm the 2nd owner of a 2012 XKR purchased as a CPO from the dealer who serviced it. Came with 6600 miles and a service record of normal new car service at 5K miles and a new battery at 6600 miles. I bought the car in 2014 and had a few recalls as well as an alternator and BT module replaced. I have annual oil service changes and have replaced all 4 tires along with a 4 wheel alignment. Also normal brake fluid replacement. I coordinate these events to be done at my annual service and the last one in April also replaced the battery. The net here is after 5 years of ownership I have gone back to the dealer 5 times.

Thanks for all's input. Trigger being pulled and $$ is gonna be changing hands.
One thing I see, it appears the car may have been parked/stored in a garage with the top folded down for extended period. So there are marks/creases with the top up. One long mark over the window from one side to the other, and some on the right side. left side is clean. It's not wear but looks like it or like dark scratches in the pictures. Is there a way to clean the top somehow?

What pictures? I haven't seen any. What color is the top, some colors show more creasing than others.
I know my tan top shows some creases and slight wear in the C-pillar area on both sides, but then it is a 2007, so I'd be surprised if it didn't.

On another note, my friend and also a long time car guy, currently with a Ferrari in his garage recommends I negotiate in the deal for an extended warranty. CPO is not possible, (car is 2013) so one of those other warranty companies a dealer would be affiliated with. I'm under the impression non of these is really any good and a waste of money, but maybe not?

When I bought my car they wanted to transfer the extended warranty in my name for free. I told them to throw it in the trash.
You have got the same impression.
For some folks it works. You seem to be creating your own insurance. And if you put $4500 in an equity like TSM, you will more than cover all eventualities and come out way ahead.
Here is the equation:
Give them $3500, and you may or may not ever use it. You will kiss $3500 goodbye.
Put $4500 in equity and it will grow to $6500 and its yours no matter what.

Car officially mine. Will have pics when she arrives.
Very few blemishes, one is the gooey stuff on the steering wheel here (only on the right side). From what I'm told this happens 'down south' due to the heat, and is the lubricant ooozing out of the scroll wheel and switches? Never saw this on my previous 3 XFs with the same wheel.
Does someone knows how to clean this? apparently not easy.
