Hello to XKR owners,

Just pick up up my 2012 XKR yesterday night, I saw that I don't have a spare wheel/tire. Is this normal?! I don't think that my 20 inches Pirelli tires are run flat. Can somebody confirm me this?

The standard XKR comes with a spare, but if you have the Black Pack and/or Dynamic Pack, it doesn't come with a spare. In those cases, it comes with what they call a "Jaguar tire repair system." I don't know what that is, though.

This is going to sound crazy, but it looks like the reason the cars with the Black Pack and/or Dynamic Pack don't come with spare tires is because in order to maintain shipping clearance after the cars are manufactured, they have to ship the front splitter in the trunk...which means there isn't room for the spare tire! The dealers install the front splitter after they receive the car.

I would have thought the tire repair system would consist of a small compressor, one of the proprietary bottles of sealant e.g. Slime and probably a prayer mat!!!!!
