Spoilt Fairies
(Mods this absolutely pertains to XK150 thread readers.)
Saw a review today, which was specifically written to complain about the XE having some long term ownership problems. Horror of Horrors, Jaguar will once again be known for unreliability- further depreciate XK values. So I read intensely. He had 2 problems, the heater fan made a little noise, (maybe lint) and the GPS froze on him Once.
Can you imagine the lazy entitled world we live in. How dare a computer not work 100% of the times. The smallest inconvenience. The generation before mine had to have a mechanic ride along with them. lol
Has this punk ever driven a Ferrari, or Maserati, you dont even get a cold when you own one of those, because your quota of problems is full.

The convenience mode on my Jaguar make some form of power supply or buzzing noise. Not sure whats up with that, but my 30+ year old cars do not do it.
I was letting a friend play with the XK, he did freak out when the computer froze on him. Hitting the power button on and off took care of it. The XK's computer is *much* slower than modern Toyota's, Honda's or Chebby's. Luxury cars get technology first, production cars get it once its sorted. Luxury cars have longer production run times, so a few years down the road, and their electronics are out of date.
*most* repeat Jaguar customers are probably not too worried about a computer navigation system.
Frankly, a passenger with a smart phone makes the best navigation system.
