Default Sprint booster

Hi,

Has anyone tried this on Jaguar XKR?

https://topspeedauto.com/sprint-booster-v3-jaguar/

Can it hurt transmission or any other part?

I have seen some videos and it seems it really opens throttle faster

All this does is reprogram the Throttle to come on quicker. Nothing else. It tricks your mind into thinking you're quicker because you haven't pushed the pedal down as far. Nothing at WOT is affected positively. There may even be a detriment to Top End.

If you want the throttle to open faster, Push Your Foot Down More.

Let's not poopoo the idea in a drag race the less pedal depression meams less time, sometimes as much as 0.3s

Certainly less pedal effort and can tell the difference when I have it disconnected as the power doesn't come as quickly

Not ideal when temps drop below 10c and running on summer tyres MPS4S's as have had some wheel spin even with 6mm of tread. So it's disabled until temps come up in the Spring

I also have their Power control unit and transmission flash

So again, £209.98 so you don't have to push your foot down as much.

Cool.

How about gluing a block of wood to either your accelerator pedal or the bottom of your shoe?

Yes Perfect 🙂🤣 glue it on top so it goes to 100% throttle when pressed lol
