Default STOLEN!!!

This car has stolen my heart and it’s just sitting here waiting patiently for each paycheck. The honeymoon phase though is winding down and it seems like we’ve started couples therapy. She wants more and I’m not sure what to do… so…

If I go to this from stock, do these numbers look correct? The car is a 2015 XKR.

Mina lower pulley,181.00 mm (reported?)
New custom griptek upper pulley👉🏻 decrease SLIGHTLY to 3.20 in = 81.28 mm (stock is 3.3” or 83mm?) I was going to have to replace the pulley anyway so a little boost instead of straight stock just so I don’t have to worry about heat- or do I with these numbers?!
my friend at griptek is making the pulley for me

=Supercharger speed change vs stock,+22.800%
Estimated boost,≈11.05 psi (≈+2.05 psi)
Theoretical peak power,≈626.28 hp
Realistic expected power (VAP ecu tune) ~586–637 hp

Plus I’ve added new 3” fresh air intake w hi flow k&n
TB ported and polished
X pipe w center resonator delete up to 2.5” from 2 1/4 stock
S/C top intake polished
S/C ported and polished
upgraded charge cooler and pump

thoughts? Advice? Are the pulley sizes accurate? @everyone

I would never mod a car without a tune. You should also be sending data logs to your tuner to get the best from your mods.

Before any mods make sure the car in is top stock condition first.

Since you asked for it, here's my . First of all, 2 cents ain't worth what it used to be, as it now costs the US Mint almost 4 cents to make a penny! But that's OK, as they make up that loss in volume.

Seriously, you are not alone in having your heart stolen by your XKR. Lots of us are still here.

As for adding a cold air box and K&N filters, you're .
See this old thread from 2015, in particular my Post #12, copied below.

Your car, your money, your choice. But don't be surprised if those air intake mods result in a loss of performance. The stock XKR air filters and housings are already as good as it gets, as they bring in outside air before it gets into the hot engine compartment and there's no risk of oil contaminating the MAF sensors.

thanks for the reply and I guess I probably should’ve been a little bit more clear. I’m using a K&N high flow DRY filter. I’m using it in the original fresh air intake box. I’ve just gone from the plastic stock to the Mina galleries 3 inch polished aluminum. the dry K&N filter is a little better flow than the stock filter per my research and I’m trying to engineer a funnel from the oval air opening on the front bumper instead of the piece that just sticks up over the grill and pulls the air in versus having it come straight in like a ram air or hood scoop. If that makes sense.

I don't think with these cars that we have a big restriction on the intake side, or really the exhaust for that matter. If you're looking to maintain that power you're much better off adding as much cooling assistance as possible to help with the extra boost and potential extra timing with a tune. Water/meth, bigger rads (as you've done), making sure the system is up to scratch generally is a good idea. Heat is your enemy with HP and the higher the HP, the more you need to invest in getting rid of it all efficiently. Look at the XKR-S GT which has extra louvers and cooling on the front end.

P.S. You will lose power with the aluminium intake pipes. They heat soak easily compared to the plastic and raise your IAT a few degrees C. So you will be adding more strain on your car and adding the potential for cooling issues/det. If you definitely want bigger intake tubing go with plastic/silicone/carbon fibre.
