Supercharger pulley
Depends on the size of the pulley. Certain ones will not throw any codes or anything. The manufacturer should be able to tell you.
However.... you SHOULD get a tune regardless otherwise you're wasting your money.

Which engine do you have, 4.2 with the M112 roots blower or the 5 litre with the Eaton TVS blower? With the roots style, maximum benefit will only be achieved with a proper tune. Also with a roots blower, their lack of efficiency means faster spinning equals more heat, increased IAT and something like methanol injection would be needed to help with power lost due to heat soak. With the more efficient TVS blower, a small pulley will make a bigger difference and while a tune would still be needed for maximum benefit, it would not be as important for some increase in power and torque band shift.
