Since I got the car, on the first start up of the day for a short period of time there is a loud ticking noise like the old tappet noise you used to get. It seemed to be coming from underneath middle. I am told by the dealer who spoke to Jag Technical that this is the high pressure fuel pumps which are situated at the back of the car. It does not happen any other time of day. So no worries
