I didn't realise Ford was a small company?

Do you mean when Ford owned Jaguar?

If so, Jaguar rebels went against Ford, who highly opposed both Jaguar designing their own engine and the arrangement to lease a corner of the Bridgend engine plant.
Jaguar refused to do things Ford's way and ran it as a small independent company. There are a couple of guys on this forum from that original team, they write about sneaking in to do the work and hiding everything from their masters.

Or did you mean they got Callum from Ford.

2 weeks ago I was at my Jag dealer and there were 4 LC500s in the lot. I would assume used but I didn't go and look. I should have inquired but I was in a hurry. I thought that was interesting.

Would be curious to read your impressions if you get to drive one.

The article didn't really say much though. Mostly filler.

Parent corporation (Tata) owns 100% of the shares of a subsidiary (JLR) and distributes those shares to its (Tata) shareholders in a transaction that meets the requirements of IRC Section 355. The new JLR owners can then dispose of their shares to a new owner either in a taxable (sale) or non-taxable (deferred tax merger) transaction. (Actually, a bit more complicated, but that's not important here)

So, what's my point? In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except Death and Taxes.

I'm not sure which is worse.

Perhaps Lawrence Stroll will buy the Jaguar portion of the entity.

Perhaps they should also revert to cross-plies or inner tubes - then you could have some real pedigree

To have Jaguar and AML under one corp umbrella I think could really work to their advantage. The buying power and technology sharing could add competitiveness across both product lines.

I guess Brewtech missed the news that JLR have a new I6 engine. The world is saved
