It might be the type of "computer" and operating system you're using - desktop? laptop? tablet? Try sending that photo to your smartphone, download and save it to your phone, login to your Jaguarforums.com account on your phone and then try to upload it from your phone to the Forum. If that doesn't work, maybe that .jpg file is too big.

I have no problems using my Samsung Galaxy s8 phone to post photos stored on my phone. I reduce the file size using the Pixlr app to crop the original photo and then download it in a smaller format, which is what I upload.

Isn't the "Thanks" button pretty much akin to a "Like" button? That's how I use it anyway.

To my way of thinking

Thanks = interesting post that I will find useful in the future, almost a "gee I didn't know that!" moment
Like = Funny/poignant/topical post (Cee Jay and a certain tyre brand for instance) 'Thanks' just doesn't seem appropriate

Since I'm British and it's my language, my opinion will outweigh anyone elses who isn't....so there!!

What's up with a country that recruits only men named Bobby to be cops?

I am using a desktop with Windows 10 and before the "upgrade" had no problem at all.

I can copy a picture from any other threads with pictures and paste it no problem.

We have a fix for our uploader coming next week that should hopefully alleviate the issue you're experiencing, jackra_1. In the meantime, I recommend trying a different browser if you have one to see if that can serve as a temporary workaround. If you see the same issue on that browser too, please let me know.

Regarding the Thanks button, we consider it to be our version of Like. But MarkyUK, you raise a good point that it may be not interpreted the same way by everyone. I'll pass along that feedback to our product development team.

Thanks!

I'd suggest that as the thumbs up icon on the thanks button is the same as the FB like icon it is a multi-use button.

Firefox usually works better than Chrome works. It also uses less memory and won't Cache your system memory over 6 GB like Chrome does. Chrome Cache uses a LOT of drive space.

Thanks, that's a great suggestion. I'll pass it along.

I run both Safari and Firefox and lately (maybe the past week?) I get the color wheel where the screen freezes. I have to refresh the screen several times. What's up with that?

Are you logged out or logged in when you see the freezing occur?

both but I'm more likely to use the site when I'm logged in so I think that's where I notice it. I'll try surfing the site while logged off to see if there's a change and let you know.

Thanks, Sean. We're looking into it. Which version of Safari and macOS are you currently running?
