Thoughts on this one?
I have a few, but I want to hear from you first. (Read the dealer notes)

I have bought from Lake Bluff before. They are a standup outfit.
And a car with only 35K on the odometer! What’s there not to like. Oh sure you can nit pick this and that. But is something stands out as unreasonable, pick up the phone and discuss it with them. (I’m old school and the amount of traction I get on the phone in a few minutes far outweighs the back and forth nonsense of email or texts)
I for one think all pricing for anything used is out of whack these days…. I blame all the newbies with too much money in their pockets. (Even just buying a new watch or new glasses is an effort in negotiation with me… I don’t stand for retail. And everyone walks away pleased)
Cheers.

Very nice car. Good dealers check their ads. The ad has multiple mistakes, is badly written and not very believable. For instance, "repiutable Franchised Jagaur Dealer". LOL if a dealer can't spell Jaguar correctly, gotta wonder what else they got wrong. Agree about it being over sold. New dash and top probably means it spent lots of time in SoCal sun. Seems like for the asking price, the car should be flawless. For price comparison, a perfect 2013 Special Edition w/ 31k miles sold on BAT for 45. Totally agree on using the phone. It's quicker and you know if you're dealing w/ the general manager or some newly hired junior associate. I'm looking for same era XKR so interested in how this turns out. Good luck

FAR from a flawless car. Needs dash replacement, sticky buttons, scratch on interior trim, and very worn driver's seat for a low mileage car. The dealer should have least detailed the car better. Maintenance records should provide proof of coolant pipe replacement/water pump. This car seems to me to be no more than a $30-$35,000 car (considering the work that is required) before even looking further. Of course there is always an *** for every seat. Not an impressive looking car.

I agree with the above comments.
The exterior looks good but the scratches on the trim and the sticky buttons means it is only above average but not one for the perfectionist. I have no doubt the two PO's lavished MONEY on it but should have also lavished more CARE too.
Worn mechanical parts and paint faults are easily rectified as a normal part of vehicle preparation for sale. Trim faults are another issue altogether. Replacement is usually the only truly effective solution for cuts and scratches and where trim parts are available (always the first thing to disappear from JLR inventory), they are expensive.
Prices of used Jaguars in the US always surprise me as considerably higher than here in the UK but even our US members suggest this one is over priced.

Guys. I revert to my previous comments. That this is a stand up organization that values customers. Pick up the phone and start the negotiations if you’re interested. Reading and commenting on an advert is only the job part done.
My XJR was sourced there. And there was a significant difference between the advert and what I received following some simple, mature, gentlemanly like negotiations.

Seems like a reasonable request, on a Jaguar X150 forum, no?
