Oh, nasty. Now your garage will smell like burnt car for a long time, especially when it rains. I found that out after stripping a burnt drag boat. Never, ever will I do another.
It's been a long time since I first started playing with this salvage but after many other car projects, work, set backs and a bit of laziness I finally got the original salvage complete and ready to be on the road. The burn out car was stripped and hauled off then I fixed both the silver one and now the black one. Since the burn out car had only 60K miles on it I traded out the entire rear end, fuel pump and many other engine parts along with all shocks. Went through and replaced the cooling bits, water pump, sparks and belts before reassembly. Also had to redo the head liner as it started to droop after a summer in the hot sun. Runs well so I am keeping my fingers crossed for the break in.
