Trunk lid finisher
I've been thinking about changing the silver trim on my XKR's boot lid (suppose I should call it a trunk on here ) with the chrome one.
Does anybody know if this is a simple "unscrew the old one, screw on the new one" type of job or is it more complicated than that due to the lock switch and plate lights?
Thanks,
Graham.

Graham - if you are referring to (what I call) the trunk blade that has the JAGUAR letters in it, it's a pretty simple thing to do. There is one wire to disconnect/reconnect and a couple of nuts to remove. There is also double sided tape on the edges of each side of the blade.
The plate lights and covers just pop out - again pretty simple.
You'll have to remove the lower "boot lid" trim cover to get to the nuts and wire.
It really is pretty simple.
