So today I noticed, from outside the car, just a small bit of white protruding below the dotted black paint at the very top of the windshield. I had not noticed it before so I got in and looked from the inside. From the inside it was all black but it was a sticker. When I removed it I saw this...


Any ideas what this is? Maybe a sticker to activate an entry gate or something? Perhaps just a government tracking devise. Perhaps something from Jag as it is the original windshield? Just curious.

 

Looks like a toll road transponder.

 

Probably not strong enough signal for open road tolling, but maybe checking in/out of a fleet vehicle?

 

.... or parking passes.

 

I believe that’s the antenna for the phonetic redundicizer.
