Nightmare, I've been in a rental car for a month now.. I just should have gone with HRE to start with I've had their wheels in the past and service is second to none in the wheel industry. Learned my lesson.

The stock 285s are bad at 510hp at ~600 they are a complete joke there is no traction at low speeds. I know of people are running 305s on stock XKR-S wheels but that seems a bit tight to me. They fit perfect on the 11" wheels but the offset has to be perfect to fit that size wheel on the XKR. The ADVs were about 10mm from fitting correctly and there is just enough room on the inside to clear the suspension and the wheel housing. HRE has all those measurements and I gave them free rein on sizing and they came back with 20x11. Have my fingers crossed that its the right fitment.

Good eye! Exclusive blacked out all the chrome, installed the exhaust, ECU Tune and Pulley. They are great to work with, on time professional and courteous. Hard to find that level of service in Miami.

I purchased the ADVs from a local dealer both which I'm now having to file suit against this week to recoup funds for the wrong wheels, 45 days of rental car expense etc. STAY AWAY FROM ADV just my 2 cents. By far the WORST purchasing experience of anything ever in my lifetime. They have the absolute worst customer service of any company on the planet.

I ordered my new wheels directly from HRE and they have been a pleasure to work with and the wheels will be here on the 12th exactly 10 business days after I approved the order.

They are HRE P101s front 20x9.5 ET45 offset and rear 20x11 ET40 offset. The tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports 265/35/20 and 305/30/20 respectively. I'll check with HRE on the exact weight of my wheels but they are forged monoblocks, and the advertised weight is 19-23 lbs per wheel. Went with a gloss Charcoal color as they still look aggressive but have some contrast vs the car. Can't wait to get them on the car, and I'll have it just in time for my trip to the Jaguar Driving Academy next Friday.

Heres a few more pics that they sent over last night.

I lowered my 07XK abt 3 years ago using H&R springs. Then a couple of years back I installed H&R spacers front and rear. Rear tires 275/35/19 and fronts 245/40/19. Zero rubbing issues and am just now starting to see just a bit of uneven wear on the front, nothing alarming. Next week will bring it in to check 4 wheel alignment etc. Zero issues cornering or at high speed, no vibrations or pulling. We can debate all the negative impacts that lowering or spacers may cause, but, from my many experiences of driving and maintaing cars that I have lowered and or placed spacers on them I have nothing negative to report. I would suggest if one is inclined to lower any vehicle to buy only from proven reputable vendors. Its not only tire wear that may occur its also safety you have to consider. I personally like the aesthetics that lowering provides (on the right cars) and spacers more than help with filling out the gap toward the fender. The XK has a great look from the back, and, with rear spacers, (imo) that look is even better. Funny thing is in my high school days we were always jacking up the rear and placing tires on rims that went past the fenders….. How things change….. LOL

Welp, I bought the Spires springs for my 2012.

Spoke to Matt, while they're a perfect fit for all cars up to 2011 - for 2012-2014 they fit, but will alter the suspension's limits just a tad in travel before reaching the bump stop. With these springs on a 2012+. To me, I'm okay with that. I live in Florida where the roads are glassy smooth and straight 99.9% of the time.

In a place like NYC or LA, I would NOT recommend these springs. Basically, if your roads have too many bumps and dips, avoid.

Major props to Matt at Spires. Should be receiving the springs soon.

Do you recall what size spacers you used, front and rear? Mine's an 07 too, thanks for this helpful post!
