Only when engine is warm and when driving slow to park I hear from engine bay and feel the steeringwheel "vibrate/stutter" when turning
I don't think it's the belt cause it doesn't slip. Car is 12 years old so thought of changing the oil. Is there a how to and what spec should it be?

 

Change the fluid, directions and spec is in the free X150 S/M.

 

Can't find the spec in free x150 workshop manual but should be in the car manual so I'll have a look there.
Was hoping it would be as easy as an engine oil change but need pipework and stuff so anybody done it and have some tips or tricks?:-)

So you never started the engine, just used compressed air to get the oil out?

 

Ordered Castrol Transmax Dexron III and after reading your thread I will give it a go with compressed air!:-)

 

Should work, just be gentle with the air so the fluid come out as a trickle and not a gusher.

 

Oil changed but vibration still there. Funny thing is my former car(MG ZT V8(Mustang GT engine)) did exactly the same. If it doesn't get worse I'll live with it.

Did it as per manual as I wasn't sure of how to fill it again after draining it with compressed air. First 2 person job,with engine running it drains VERY quickly and you have to be VERY fast keep up so no air goes into the system. The oil I had bought came in 5 one litre bottles, luckely I poured them all into one bigger canister.
I liked Rancheros way better as there is no stress and you can do it yourself, I was unsure if it would fill up by itself by pouring in the oil?

 

Yep, it'll level out and you'll need to add a good bit more once it starts up. Of course the oil get aerated so you'll need to let it settle and refill once the air works its way out. Might have air init now still causing the vibration.

 

Peter, you are driving too slow. The car thinks it is going into a stall and activates the stick shaker.

 

Both my former X350 and X351 had this. I think it's normal for the line.

I would consider it abnormal as I haven't seen to many complaints of this problem. I don't have it and just turned 23K miles.

 

Abnormal, hand massager isn't listed in the handbook as an option.
