Default Washer fluid drip annoyance

When I spray washer fluid while driving, it always drips sideways either into the cabin (w/window down) or along the entire width of the side window (w/window up). This only occurs on the driver's side, not on the passenger side. I'm surprised there's no drip-rail along the windshield to direct the fluid elsewhere. Anybody else annoyed by this?

Yeah this bugs me too. There was some discussion on a UK Jaguar forum about this recently, it's just because the windscreen sits basically flush with the A pillars. Also happens if it's raining heavily or there's lots of standing water on the windscreen.

I agree, it is annoying. As a result I attempt to use the windscreen washer only at speeds below 35 mph (56 kph). Granted this isn't a cure all solution, but it does alleviate the side window splashing.

If I have the top down, I simply put up the driver's side window before I use the wiper fluid. Easy peasy!
