Default Weird issue on my XKR

I had my steering coil replaced recently as it was raising an airbag fault, which thankfully went away. Now when I put the car into reverse, the parking sensor screen shows up and the source of the audio system switches to something else. If Im on CD, it goes to AM. If I'm on FM, it goes to iPod, you guys get the drift.
Creeps me out.

By the way, I enjoy reading the forums, just dont have enough time to post nowadays

Make CERTAIN your battery voltage is at LEAST 12.6 volts after sitting at least 30 minutes after engine running, or better, before you start the car.
Anything under 12.6 can cause some weird problems.
If so, then first try charging the battery fully with an actual battery CHARGER, not a maintainer or trickle charger.
Also maybe a Hard Reset may work if your voltages are fine.
My guess, whomever did your airbag work left the doors open and the battery got very low.

Thanks, thats what the mech did as well first thing today. The voltages were fine. He's redoing his install of the steering coil, no additional cost to me. Hopefully this solves the issue.

Well guess what, everything reinstalled and all is fine in the world. I need to buy some hood and tailgate struts though as they look ugly
