Default What all bushings?

2007 XK. Time for new tires, getting new wheels as well since my wife cracked one and I've been wanting to. Owner before me had 8.5s on all of the tires and I can't stand the stance without bigger back wheels. But the car is also noisy up front. I'm going to take this time to change out everything I can without it getting too expensive. What all bushings can I change out and do OE bushings make a big difference over something I can get on partsgeek or another like website?

Sway bar bushings
Front lower control arm
Front lower control arm inner
Front upper arm

Any others I can change? Getting a clunky sound and I can't take it.

I would take it to a suspension shop and have them exercise the joints to identify what's loose or making the noise. Otherwise it's a lot of labor and expense shot gunning parts at a problem.

Ranchero, I should have stated that I know it's not all making noise but at 93k miles on it I'm ready for it to all be new. If I'm getting new rims and tires I want to take care of the small things as well. But if it comes down to it and I don't change them all out then I'll take your advise and have a suspension shop look at it. I have my Rover in the shop right now. It's the first time I've had a shop fix something on any of my cars in a LONG time. I like doing it myself it at all possible and bushings are not too big of a deal. Just wanted to make sure I get everything ordered the first time around.

I have had quite a few Jags - both new and old. It has been my experience that at 10 years and/or 80K miles they need bushings replaced. If you have the suspension apart you might as well do them all. I do all the work on my cars myself as well. While I have not done them on an X150 I have done them on X100s and X300s. It's is not that bad of a job if you have a press.

Davchr, that was my thought as well but I'm trying to make sure I get them all ordered and that was my question. Is what I have listed all of the bushings I'll need?

If your taking it apart anyway as it appears you are, I would add sway bar links, ball joints and tie rods, shock absorber bushings.

What you and Sean have listed looks good to me. I would look at the parts diagrams for the suspension and if it is a rubber part, replace it.
