Default what's it for?

Hey Mates,
Was installing me CTEK harness in the left rear cavity this AM. Saw this 3 pin connector attached to the taillight panel. Anyone know it's purpose?

Reading from my phone, I don't see your signature, but if you have an '07 - '09, I'd guess it might be for the backup light / fog light switcheroo that they do for LHD vs RHD cars. Would make sense to use a common harness in both.

Hi,
It's an '08 Portfolio cvt. US spec. One side is backup, other is fog, as I know it now. This puppy is just hanging there all alone.......

Could be CA052, "Socket-Accessory-Rear", i.e. the connector that feeds the optional rear accessory socket. If it is, it should have white/red, brown & black wires. The brown is a direct battery feed, the white/red is ignition-switched, the black is ground.

Hmmm? Will check the wire colors. Wonder what optional accessory I can find?
Thanks!
