Default Wheel question

Hello to everybody. This is my first post and I have a question that would be easy to answer in America, but I am currently stationed overseas.

I had a 2004 black XKR coupe. It had a set of custom Asanti rims (I know, they were on there when I bought it, and since they were black like the car, they looked really good without making it look like a drug dealer owned it) that I kept when I traded the car in for a 2007 gunmetal grey with black/aluminum trim XKR convertible. I only had that car for about 2 months when I got sent back overseas, so I never bothered with the wheels, just put them in storage with the rest of my stuff. I will be returning to "the world" sometime around April-May, and was wondering if the old wheels for from my XKR will even fit on my new one? If so, I may use them as they really are tastefully done, even approved of by the president of the British Car Club where I was previously stationed. If not, I will put them on ebay when I get back or sell them independently. They even have toyo tires with about 1100 miles on them.

Anyway, thanks for your time and for answering my question.

I can't even remember the name. If you go to wikipedia unde Jaguar XKR, there is a picture at the very bottom of an exact duplicate of my car. Those are the wheels mine has if you know the name.

yah, looked at wiki, 20" sentas, best wheel for that car in my opinion.

Wait, that was the 07+, if you're talking about these

Those are the 20" Detroit style

The ones on my car are 20" Kalimnos wheels. Like I said, they look pretty amazing on the car. When I get back, I'll put the old ones up for sale somewhere. Someone with a 1st gen Jag can get a lot of bling for his buck with those, especially for a darker hued vehicle.

I think a little looks fine on a Jag, as they are already beautiful and don't really need to be tarted up too much. Like I said, mine had the 20" Black and chrome Asantis, and they looked really amazing considering the car was black as well. I also had the body kit from Jaguar performance on it and it sort of added to the car without detracting from its inherent lines.

Now, another guy in town had an white 03 XK8 droptop. He put ENORMOUS chrome spinner rims (on a jag ) on it, a lift kit, and chromed everything he could (door handles, grills, side mirrors) think of. Imagine the worst Cadillac Escalade and Chrysler 300 you have ever seen. Now imagine that in XK8 form. He certainly got lots of attention, but I am not sure it was the kind he thought he was getting. The dealer told me that if he knew he was going to do that to the car, he would never have sold it to him.
