Default Wind Break on a Convertible

I was watching a video of a Jaguar - convertible - and notice a wind break (not sure what they call it) behind the (and in-between) the passenger seats in the back..... used to break the back wind from behind the car. I've never seen those before - in a Jaguar - but evidently you can get them ?? Anyone know what I'm talking about - and where you can buy such a device ??

It’s called a ‘wind deflector’.
There is an OEM version, which also requires brackets installed behind the rear seats that then provide slots between the seat backs and the center cushion to hold tabs on the OEM deflector.
Then there are several aftermarket versions that have pegs that slide into the upper seatbelt slots.
The aftermarket versions are certainly less costly. I have the OEM version that came with the car.

The wind deflector works best if you have the Remote Control Soft Top with Optional Rear Window Controller accessory by Forum member WhiteXKR (Steve, the Jag Wrangler) so you can raise all 4 windows with the top down. It's what the factory forgot. If I can install it myself, so can you!

Also called a wind diffuser. I bought one from Germany ( can''t find the link) and best investment in the convertible. We can have the top down with only a small amount of buffeting and can now wear wide brimmed hats in the sunshine. I am also considering Jag Wrangler mod.

Thank you everybody for the information and product links. I came across this https://www.cravenspeed.com/ company in Portland Oregon that ships for free - and has really good products and people. Buy American when I can - and you should give them a try.

All I see for every year XK is a Jam, a chimebeater, wipers and OBD.
Where did you find the wind deflector? They have a lot for other cars though.

They also have wind deflectors. Just give them a call. The cost is $299 - yes higher than from Europe - but free shipping. And buying American made.

Lots of businesses lose out on sales due to poorly crafted websites.

I bought mine directly from cabrio, 299, no tax, free air shipping! 2 day delivery from over there to over here. It is a great addition to a convertible.

amazon offers me $90 shipping for that, and i have prime. sometimes items come in and out of amazon's holy prime blessing, but also i think their algorithm might take region/state into account.

I stand corrected. I assumed FREE SHIPPING because Prime, and I also have it marked as $90.
I have been wrong before, and will probably be wrong again in the future.

You can also buy one from Mina Galleries in the LA area or from Adamesh out of the UK. I bought mine from Adamesh a long time ago. So whatever price I paid is no longer relevant.

If you want to fit the OEM version, I have the OEM brackets that I removed from my car.

I ordered mine from Adamesh - $344 with shipping.

I was delayed due to being on back order, but from the UK to FL took TWO days.

Fedex delivered it to a different address but the homeowner called and I had it installed in about 15 minutes.

Next up will be Jagwrangler's one-touch module.
