Default Winter driving

Does anyone in the northern areas (snow belt) drive their XK on a regular basis in the snow. How does it work out?

I did last year with all seasons. As long as there is no actual snow on the ground, you are fine. No hot-******* and some restraint will reap benefits in you driving decisions.

The door locks can be an issue, there were times where I couldn't close the door until the door panel was fairly warm.

I drove a couple mountain passes in snow.... Promptly got a second car hoping the XK never sees it again... (both passes were unnerving, and one ruined my paint thanks to sanding.)
Keep in mind we dont get snow that often, but IMHO the XK is not your best choice in the white stuff.

One thing that may also make a huge difference is the LSD on 2010+ models.
