Default Winter Gold

So the reason I have settled in on Jaguar is I don't like seeing what I'm driving as I tool about town. The reason I settled on Winter Gold as a color when I bought my XKR was first I thought it was a stunning color option IMHO and I had not seen this color in my 2 years of looking for the right "R". Second was the low mileage one owner so the stars lined up just right.

Who else is driving a Winter Gold XK or XKR? Was told by the P.O. well son in law as it was an estate sale that the color Winter Gold was one of only 97 in 2007. I cannot verify if this is XK's, XKR's, coupes, convertibles not that it matters but how many are out there that follow this forum drive around in Winter Gold?

The color I was really shooting for was Seafoam Green and I never did find one available the whole time I was looking for an "R". How many of you are lucky enough to have this color on a XK or XKR?

Both colors are rare, as I've never seen either one on the road.

I had the seafrost green metallic and it was stunning color. Crowd favorite at any car show. The winter gold is great. I think they may have called it winter wheat too? Radiance red is brilliant in any Jaguar.

I've had a Winter Gold 07 XK coupe for 5 years now. I drive it daily. The color choice was by accident, it just happened to be the best coupe I found at the time. The color actually helped drive the price down as no one wanted it and it sat on the lot for so long the dealer kept dropping the price! Winter Gold has the added benefit of hiding dirt.... a plus when you drive 75 miles a day to and from work.
