I want to change out the wood in my car as cam really not feeling it.
it's my intention to purchase the following:

Dash Parts

However, the supplier is telling me that it wont fit my car as its older than 2010?

Are all the x150 models not the same dash?

I would investigate further. The page you linked to says in part:



Check the vehicle identification number of your car. If the last six digits are higher than B00379, the parts should be compatible. However, before ordering, call JLR again and get them to confirm.

 

Part #5 on a diagram will not fit to 2006-2009 car. Different gearbox/gear selector shape. The rest will be okay. Buy that one and paint your trim piano black to match the rest and it will be okay

Not sure if there is a black piano gearbox trim, which you need.

 

there is only one part that is not compatible with all version of the X150 - there are 2 types of shifters 2007-2009 j-gate and 2010-2015 rotary, the rest of the trim bits are 100% compatible for all years.

I think so. I don't think I have pics but Texas Traveler wrapped his and posted pics. I know others have and as I understand it, the wraps remove fairly easily. I might change mine in the off season.
