XFRS had an 8 speed in 2013...why not the XKR?

XFRS had an 8 speed in 2013...why not the XKR?
Guys just wondering why they put an 8 speed auto with the 5.0 supercharged motor in 2013 XFRS and they didnt put that trans in the XKR, XKRS & XKRS gt?

Well, they designed the 5.0 X150 for the 2010 model year, drive train and all, so why mess with it later when they know they only have another year or two of production left?
