Model year 2014 is this lower section of the spoiler standard on this car?

Thanks great information. So could you actually order this on the car when you purchased it or was it an add-on item and did anything else come with it like a different spoiler on the back or anything like that thanks

It was standard on my Dynamic R which would be a US 2015 MY.

I took mine off though as speedbumps and steep inclines had to be negotiated at VERY slow speed, I wasn't careful enough so caught it a few times.

Also it wouldn't clear my rhino ramps so removed mine.

My intention is to refit once hydro dipped in carbon effect transfer, will also have my side skirts, bonnet vents and mirror covers done in the same.

The one in the pics seems to be loose as there shouldn't be such a visible gap between the centre and side pieces.

I do know they are freakin expensive to buy new

Mina Galleries used to offer this exact piece and will still make it to order. I picked one up from Chris 2 weeks ago after I cracked mine. In the past, I had the 3 piece splitter "fused" together to look like one smooth piece.

Explain this 'fusing' process, or do you mean you had the joins filled and painted?

Marky, what kind of ramp do you have that the XKR will drive up without hitting. The splitter on my car hits the ramp about half way and the tire is nowhere near the bottom of the ramp. Any chance you have a picture of your ramp?

MartyUK,
By "fusing" I meant that we doweled together the three pieces, filled with bondo, and then painted. This time when we put it on last week, we left it in 3 pieces, where they overlap just as in the OEM one because any time I even lightly scraped the bottom of the splitter, the flexing of the splitter would cause small cracks in the bondo, and I got tired of having my body shop repair and paint it. Hopefully, I'll be more careful and the fact that they're not joined will result in less little cracks that need to be touched up or repainted and filled.

I got a set of 2-piece RaceRamps after I got my car. Couldn’t get up my old Rhino ramps.
Don’t recall where I bought them, but it was this model:

Rhino ramps I picked up stateside on a business trip for 50USD back in 2008..pics below show the clearance that I couldn't achieve with the front splitter fitted.
