xk front headlight eyebrow covers
As a 07 owner my car has , as i call them the bug eye shape lights. I like the newer more aggressive lights. Question is, has any one seen eyebrow type covers as would go onto the light to give it a more sleeker look. Would be a cheaper and easier option if done well, and would look good. I don't want to go down the road of changing lights as to many issues. Also i have seen the threads on splitting open the lights and spraying the inside, don't want that hassle either.
Picture below is only an example of the type of item i mean.

Both you guys got me thinking about this, so I spent a little time and a half-roll of electrical tape putting on different shape and size covers like what you're trying to find. I agree that the XKRs look better with a smaller, more aggressive headlight.
So anyway, it got a little too cold for the tape to stick after a few attempts, but I'd recommend that you use the Tape trick (color-matched tape if that's your thing) to try out as many shapes/styles as you can think of to determine what you best prefer.
My thoughts are the more of the top part you cover and the "anglier" they get, the better they look. I even overdid it for a minute and covered too much of the light and blocked some of the beam. Looked cool for a minute though.
Still waiting on those pics from Chris!

If one wouldn't mind the flatness of the tape, the shape could be made out of that vinyl body-wrap stuff in whatever color imaginable. Even carbon fiber or whatever graphic imaginable. The "stock" colors and patterns are pretty cheap on eBay.
