...my XK has a 6CD multichanger in the dash. I've loaded this with just over 4Gb worth of MP3 files.

I am sure that the documentation shows you can have random selection through all the dics - but I only seem to be able to get either over one disk, or just one folder within the disk and not all disks.


Anyone have any advice on this?

Aside from the fact that I need to move out of the 80s and not have that much rock and hair metal in a car like the XK......

 

Has it got a 'shuffle' feature, the laser can only read one disc at a time.

 

Yes - shuffle, that is what I meant. I will shuffle one disk, or one folder within the disk - but not amongst all the disks.

Whereas the manual implies it will shuffle (or mix in the jaguar parlance) the whole 6 CDs...
