Default XK wing mirror reflection

Just acquired a 2013 XK Coupe. I am in Florida and the car has tinted windows. Problem: Wing mirrors are almost useless as the reflection in the tinted door windows blocks the view!
Has anyone else had this problem? Can a part of the tinting be removed? Any anti-reflection treatment available?
This is my first post - thanks in anticipation.

Yes there is.
I would get rid of the tint for starters.
If the reflections are primarily when the sun is out, you can wear polarizing sunglasses.
A good pair (like Serengeti) is a safety essential anyway.

I have a light mirror tint, looks great on Emerald Fire. The first days I sorta regretted it because of the reflection. But my eyes got used to it within a week. Wait a bit... youll see

If you are driving an XK correctly, the only use for any of the mirrors is to see all the traffic behind you that you blasted past. Just kidding - be safe, and get some polarized glasses.
