does the xk150 fuel tank flow by gravity to the pump .? I know the 120/140 do.

if so to clean the pump filter I have to drain tank or shove a riser hose on the disconnected fuel line to
minimize spillage. Car seems to be starving for fuel when pressed hard . Everything else is clean and new points condenser etc . The tank and pump were replaced about 20 yrs ago. But only started using non ethanol gas last couple years. Thanks. Andy
